WHO WE ARE:
Word of Life Apostolic Center, Inc. is an established Center for Healing, Hope and Restoration. Our mission is to reach and uplift those who are broken and need an experience with God. Through God's words and the power of the Holy Spirit, our church has helped many people to find a new direction for their lives; one that is built on faith, obedience and the acceptance of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Amongst us are testimonies of deliverance from drug and alcohol addictions, physical and sexual abuse, street gangs, drug dealing, prostitution, poverty, and welfare dependency.
Our church had its beginning in a small prayer group that met in November, 1999 in the home of our pastor. As we sought the Lord, he began to impress upon our hearts that there was a deeper purpose for each of our lives. We were brought together to birth out a fellowship of believers that would be a catalyst for revival in the state of New Jersey. Our subsequent meeting places included homes in the City of New Brunswick, conference rooms at the Quality Inn Hotel in Somerset, and recently, the First Reformed Church in New Brunswick. On April 4th, 2010 we relocated to Union County, a central location to all our members.
OUR MISSION AND VISION
Evangelism is not a profession held by a privileged few, neither it is not the choice or desire of a few gifted or trained men, but what it is instead is, the unrelenting responsibility of every person who has been baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and have received the baptism of the Holy Ghost according to Acts chapter 2, verses 1-4.
The Word of Life Apostolic Center exists expressly to give continuing emphasis on this reason-for-being, in the New Testament Apostolic pattern, by teaching and encouraging believers to repent and to be baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and be filled with the Holy Spirit.
This experience:

Enables them to evangelize in the power of the Spirit with accompanying supernatural signs (mark 16:15-20; Acts 4:29-31; Hebrews 2:3-4).

Adds a necessary dimension to worshipful relationship with God (1 Corinthians 2:10-16: 1 Corinthians 12, 13 and 14.)

Enables them to respond to the full working of the Holy Spirit in expressing the fruit, gifts and ministries as in the New Testament times for the edifying of the body of Christ. (Galatians 5:22-26; 1 Corinthians 14:12; Ephesians 4:11-12; 1 Corinthians 12:28; Colossians 1:29).
THE MINISTRY
A divinely called and scripturally ordained ministry has be provided by our Lord Jesus Christ for the threefold purpose of leading the Church in:

Evangelization of the World (Mark 16: 15-20)

Worship of God (John 4:23,24).

Building a body of saints being perfected in the image of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4: 11-16).
